My grandma gave me one of her beautiful flower vases, I came home and promptly picked a few snapdragons to show it off πŸ’šπŸ’
Today I said goodbye to my first pup, my baby girl my gardener sidekick. I am heartbroken, but as her breathing eased and her body relaxed, I knew she was ready and at peace. I will miss you my dear girl, thank you for allowing us to be your forever family and thank you for all you have taught me.
Two years ago we decided to utilize another area of the yard for gardening, it has been weeds and wasteland up until that point (pic 1) 🏜 this year I had visions of sprawling squash across the front of the garden πŸ’š - we planted a few @vego_garden round beds and our fruit salad tree, I’m hoping to get one more bed in but I’m not sure what size would be best.
A little bit of sunshine 🌞 on this very toasty day πŸ’š.
Harvesting our first batch of onions today, had to pull them early due to bolting. I will be caramelizing and dehydrating the next few days.
I am going to miss the wildness and color of our spring garden this year, Eddie is calling it the year of the sweet peas!
